The witness was driving with a companion toward a bait shop in the morning when he saw a tall dark bipedal figure cross the road ahead near distant vehicles. The figure moved quickly in a few long strides and entered the woods before the companion could see it. The couple searched the treeline but found no trace, and a park employee later suggested a bear, which the witness rejected.
