In 2014 the guest was riding with two companions on a gravel logging road near Orleans when two tall hair-covered figures ran in front of the car. The driver braked hard and the creatures stood very close for about a second and a half, appearing panicked, before running down a steep slope. The guest described seven-foot human-ape figures with dark hair, bare faces and hands, and large dark eyes.
