Footsteps in Oregon

The guest and a male companion camped beside a large structure off a gravel forest-service road in the West Cascades and invited contact without calls or knocks. After dark they heard bipedal footsteps approaching to about twenty-five to thirty yards, greeted in other languages, then were bluff-charged with crashing and ground shaking and retreated to the road. Through the night they heard pacing, mumbling, and talking around the vehicles and later found the camp was on a game trail with sign of about three individuals.
