Around 10:30 at night the witness drove around a curve and saw two sets of red glowing eyes ahead, one very low on the left and one about four to five feet up on the right behind a tree. She slowed, watched one figure sway and look back, locked eyes with the other, then drove between them about ten feet away as headlights revealed a rippling iridescent back. The rearview showed nothing, and a morning return revealed deep culverts, pushed-down grass, and a footprint suggesting seven to eight feet tall.
