About a year after the first incident, the witness returned to the same trail to hunt moose. After spotting a moose, he heard a snap behind him and faced a very muscular, ugly hairy creature at close range. He pointed his rifle at it, saw its lips curl to show triangular teeth, then slowly lowered the rifle, spoke to it, and it gestured with its palm and left in a crab-walk before running away.
