2022
about three o'clock at night
North San Juan
Account
While taking turns keeping a ceremonial fire alight, the witness heard a violent struggle to the north that started and stopped quickly, feeling something died. The next evening a loud snap was followed by whoops converging from multiple directions, rising to jet-like volume near camp, but truck lights revealed nothing.
Summary drafted by AI from the source report and checked by code before I publish it. The witness's own words remain with the publisher — read the original report .
