The witness was stopped in nighttime highway traffic with children in the vehicle. The witness and a child in the front seat reportedly watched a very large, dark, hair-covered figure crouched behind the car ahead for several seconds. When traffic began to move, the figure stood to full height and leapt off the roadway into adjoining woods beyond the headlight beams.
