Sasquatch sighting in New York

A year after the first sighting, the witness and a friend were metal detecting about a mile away when they converged at a wide trail at sunset. They saw a large fur mass in the middle of the trail about 150 to 200 yards away that stood up into a huge hairy figure. It turned, hit its head on an overhanging conifer branch, and stepped into the timber. They returned the next day, measured the branch height and recovered a nineteen-inch footprint cast.
