Account
The guest's friend left a farmhouse on foot at night to walk home. On the road he was surrounded by three hairy figures that jumped over a snowbank, with the largest nearly grabbing him before he sprinted home. The guest, his brother and his father later saw tracks in deep snow showing three bipeds coming from the woods, entering the road and leaving toward the frozen lake. Decades later the friend still reacted with fear when reminded of the night.
