Footsteps in New Hampshire
Account
A week after the knocks, the guest returned for a semi-loop in rainy, windy weather. While stopped near a muddy swampy area, he heard clear bipedal footsteps off trail that stopped when he moved. His dog stared fixedly without chasing. Feeling watched, he leashed the dog and hiked out, repeatedly looking behind.
