The guest and his friend returned to the roadside where the friend had his roadside sighting to film the story. Within feet of the marked tree they found a clear foot-like impression on hard dirt and several deep pressed impressions in leaves, then across the road a distinct track with toes going up an embankment. They guarded the tracks from vehicles and walkers, called a researcher who drove hours to plaster-cast them, and noted the guest's dog whined.
