Sasquatch sighting near Monterey, California
Account
The caller's father and grandfather drove from the Central Valley to the Monterey hunting area early in the morning and walked into foggy, dense forest. They saw a bear-like creature standing and rubbing its shoulder on a pine tree, noticed a smell described as worse than skunk, then stepped on a twig, were looked at, and watched it walk off and disappear in fog. Both men were frightened, left, and avoided deep forest hunting afterward.
