Four fishermen had nets with bells across the river about three a.m. When one net jingled, the owner took a skiff to check it, felt it snag, then saw the net lifted and a large figure pulling fish. He fell back screaming, and the figure stepped up a steep embankment. Police and a newspaper later documented large footprints and casts.
