Between about 1:30 and 2 a.m. the witness stopped at a Marble Falls rest area to use the clean restroom. From inside he heard the outside vending machine being rocked, crashing to the floor with glass breaking and food being grabbed. Outside he found the machine off its steel braces with chips and candy scattered and large half-wet footprints bigger than his size 14 in the mud.
