Rock throwing near Macon County

in the middle of winter, a few days later Macon County, North Carolina 2 witnesses

Account

While the witness held a ladder for a feeder installation in winter, something hit the ground behind him. A few days later at the same feeder, a very loud long drawn-out yell came from 50 to 70 yards away. They first thought it was a low airplane, then realized it was a vocalization.

Summary drafted by AI from the source report and checked by code before I publish it. The witness's own words remain with the publisher — read the original report .
