Cryptid sighting near Longview, Washington
Account
Late at night in heavy rain, the witness and his partner drove down a steep driveway and approached what they first thought was a huge black bear. In headlights at close range they saw an elongated face, a very muscular barrel-chested front with a narrower rear, and a long thick stiff tail with hanging hair. The animal crossed the road, crashed through small trees into the creek, and the witness says he still cannot identify it.
