Man hears "siren" type calls while sleeping in his truck
Account
The witness was preparing to sleep in his truck cab near the Woods Creek Ranger Station gate when he heard 3-4 high-pitched screams lasting about 30 seconds. The screams appeared to come from 100-200 yards east and were then answered by howls thought to be coyotes or wolves. Frightened as the sounds seemed louder and closer, he grabbed his shotgun and got into the cab and heard nothing further.
