Tracks found near LaPine
Account
While deer hunting with a companion when water was low, the witness reports finding five clear footprints in sand along a river channel. They did not follow the direction the prints headed. After a local resident suggested the prints had been faked by a bowhunter a month earlier, the witness expressed doubt because the impressions seemed unusually deep.
