While camping at KOA campground, boy finds evidence
Account
While camping with family, the witness joined a campground worker to track the source of overnight damage to campsites. They followed downed thickets and crushed small trees to a clearing with an old logging camp and a stream. Beside the stream they found large deep footprints leading uphill that faded into forest, accompanied by a pungent skunk-like odor. They then hiked to the highway and returned to the campground, keeping the findings quiet.
