Account
The witness and four companions walked at night along a trail through woods to take wood from a nearby house construction site. The witness, leading with a flashlight, noticed movement in the forest, then saw a large dark silhouette with red eyes ahead on the trail and heard a low growl. The group fled back to old farm buildings, hid for about an hour, then ran to a companion's house.
