Odor near Lake Quinault, Washington
Account
During his first year living in a small cabin on Lake Quinault, the witness repeatedly noticed a mild gamey musky odor between late night and early morning. A motion floodlight near the back of the house would trigger, but nothing was visible when he went to look from close by. He initially assumed a bear might be approaching the house.
