Sasquatch sighting near Kitimat, British Columbia (1800)
Account
A traditional story tells of a goat hunter given an early rifle who shot what he thought was a black bear. Three large sasquatches stood up, swung the fallen body, and chased him to an unclimbable oval boulder he inexplicably scaled, then into water where they whooped chest-deep while a giant white one watched. He later carved masks and rock faces, fell into a year-long coma, and gained predictive ability.
