While packing casting supplies, the witness and his son heard a noise and saw a small gray-faced black-haired form duck in undergrowth twenty yards away holding a sapling, then a larger form rise behind leaves twenty yards further. He photographed them and told them they were safe. That morning he awoke to buzzing and a deep voice saying wagum, then the house dog acted strangely, a loud three-second screech came from under the cabin, and a bad smell briefly appeared.
