Howl in Indiana (2014)
Account
The researcher describes winter camping for research with two companions in a state forest. After hearing a distant howl followed by coyotes, a very close howl was heard nearby, prompting the group to run to their cars. A recorder left behind captured the howl and subsequent talking-like vocalizations, which changed the researcher's view of the creatures.
