Man recalls sighting as a young boy on his way to go fishing in John A. Roebling Park near Bordentown
Account
Two companions walking on a trail toward a fishing spot in the late afternoon saw a tall dark figure cross the trail about 50 yards ahead. The figure took a couple steps, paused to look at them, then moved away quickly and disappeared from view. The witnesses went to the crossing point but could no longer see the figure and found no tracks aside from rub marks, then returned home without fishing.
