Account

While camped on a familiar bluff overlook, the two friends heard a loud mechanical whirring like an electric drill or saw coming from the nearby woods. They walked toward the sound and split up, but it repeatedly stopped and restarted in a different direction, never where they were. After twenty to thirty minutes it stopped entirely and did not return that night, leaving them uneasy.
