Large footprints found by witnesses
Account
The witness and a friend were walking their dog on a trail when the dog lunged up a steep embankment toward loud crunching and branch-breaking sounds from above. They followed a short way to the top of a ridge but the source of the noise was gone. On top they found freshly broken lower tree branches up to 10 feet high and foot-like impressions in the duff without claw marks, then returned cross-country to the trail.

Foot impressions in forest duff on ridge top, one or two resembling human footprints with no claw marks
Measurements: approximately 16 inches in length
Lower branches of older trees freshly broken off up to 10 feet above the forest floor, up to 3-4 inches in diameter
Measurements: up to 10' above forest floor; 3 to 4 inches in diameter
An investigator called the witness at the residence to follow up on the Richardson Grove encounter.
