The witness and a companion were camping in separate tents with a dog when loud repeated whooping vocalizations woke them around 1 a.m. and continued for about 2.5 to 3 hours. The dog remained agitated and on alert all night while the witness stayed awake fearing the source might approach. In the morning the witness, companion, and other campers discussed the sounds, and the witness concluded they matched sasquatch whoops heard on recordings.
