A man is woken by a whoop near his home and a few months later sees an upright creature run past his barn

Account

In November 2004 the witness was talking on the phone in the kitchen at night when he saw a large bipedal animal run past the barn. The animal was illuminated by the yard light for two seconds or less at about fifty yards distance. He estimated its height by comparison to a six-foot barn door and described it as dark, furry, and stocky with no obvious neck. He searched the next day but found no tracks because the ground was frozen with no snow.
