Several sightings and strange occurences near a residence west of Goodwine
Account
In early fall 2003 just after sunset, the witness was walking back toward the house after collecting firewood when a large dark figure appeared within a few feet and blocked light from nearby buildings. The figure moved quickly into roadside grass and disappeared after about ten seconds. The witness went to the house, later searched the spot but found no sign.

An investigator spoke by phone with the witness and noted added details that the daylight figure was described as six feet tall and stocky with fine hair and that the knocks were very loud.
