Whoop near Franklin, North Carolina (2016)
Account
A conservation crew camped a week in the wilderness. After nights of food-storage rustling, on a later night the forest went silent then they heard whoops and a frightening scream. Heavy distinct bipedal footsteps approached, sprinted past the tents rustling them, then boulders were thrown in a dried creek bed before sudden silence. No tracks were found on the hard road.
