Witness finds tracks - hears sounds - smells odors - finds deer carcass - then has large rock thrown at him.
Account
The witness found a foul-smelling bedding area thought at first to be from deer or other game and then found large slide-like tracks leading to and from the site. After following the tracks, the witness smelled the same odor again and heard an unfamiliar grunting or growling sound before it went quiet and the scent faded. The witness also noted deep impressions and small broken tree limbs about six and a half to seven feet high before leaving the area.
