While driving and testing a night vision camera, the witness and a companion spotted a hovering ball of soft light above the ground by a river and recorded it. Driving toward it found nothing, but it reappeared closer on a ridgeline and appeared to keep pace as they drove about a mile before disappearing, leaving them far in a remote area.
