The next day the guest crossed the creek to collect material and panned for about an hour before feeling hair stand up and sensing being watched. He spoke aloud offering respect and no harm. He then left garden tomatoes and watermelon on a log crossing the creek away from camp as an offering and asked for an undisturbed night, after which that night was quiet.
