On the second night by a river, the witness heard faint samurai chatter, then after telephone calls saw two sets of self-illuminated eyes peeking from behind a tree. The director heard a deep drawn-out boom, four returning men heard low growls, then something like a bulldozer charged to the treeline but nothing showed on white, red, green, thermal or night vision.
