A girl living on a reservation whose little brother repeatedly spoke of a big monkey in the cornfield where footprints were found later felt watched while doing homework upstairs. She looked out and saw a face staring in at a height requiring a ladder. She screamed and her parents ran outside to hear something running away through rustling corn.
