Account
The witness, about 12 years old at the time, was riding as a passenger with a relative after a hunting trip when traffic ahead pulled aside. A tall hairy figure crossed the highway, stopped very close in front of their car, turned its upper body and stared at the witness, then continued across and walked into the woods. The close encounter reportedly lasted about 45 seconds.
