Two companions hiking on the floor of a hollow came upon a brown hair-covered shape about 10 feet away near a deadfall. The shape stood to about seven and a half feet tall and ran away bipedally through brush toward a road while the witnesses fled uphill out of the woods. A return visit days later found a large matted clear spot but no footprints or hoofprints.

An investigator spoke to the witness and assessed the witness as credible.
The witness revisited the area a few weeks before the follow-up and found foliage removed and the area more populous.
