Four ski-cat guides find fresh tracks on Mt Bailey
Account
Four cat-ski guides reported finding a bipedal trackway in fresh deep snow while leading clients. The trackway reportedly ascended the north wall via a slide path and traversed the rim west, appearing as individual barefoot-like prints without snowshoe or pole marks and differing from the guides' own duplication attempt. The guides estimated the tracks were made between 4 and 6 a.m. during a heavy overnight storm and observed them across the north aspect during the morning.
