Three Sisters Wildness near Cash Lake Witness heard underbrush snapping and small trees crashing to the ground
Account
After a loud road-blasting explosion and rockslide, the witness heard a very large animal crashing through brush and trees. Then prolonged howling and screaming began from across the lake and continued for about half an hour. Alone at camp, the witness waited in a tent with a rifle until companions arrived and no further sounds were heard.
