Sasquatch sighting near Davie, Florida (1974)
Account
The witness says that during a summer of drought-related animal movements, a large hairy creature killed a rancher's prize bull, leaving it headless with its head far away and tracks nearby. Later that same night while riding with relatives behind a sheriff's patrol, the witness saw the patrol car strike the creature, which then got up and struck the patrol car with both hands, lifting its rear. A large multi-agency search with helicopters, horses and dogs that night found nothing.
