Two women heard vocalization in California redwoods
Account
Two hikers on a trail heard prolonged, loud, warbling calls that seemed to come from more than one source and grew louder near a bridge and large tree. They stopped repeatedly to listen, could not identify the sound in the field, and later ruled out elk or cougar after checking animal recordings. Other hikers entering the area said they had heard a similar distant sound. The writer concluded the sound matched a purported bigfoot recording on a website.
