On a hot summer night in 1963, the witness awoke in bed to a strong foul odor and saw a large hairy figure filling the bedroom window. The figure swayed and moved forward and back while producing low guttural growls, appearing backlit and taller than the window, with a conical head, no neck, and hair on its arms. The frightened witness alerted parents who found nothing but remarked on the smell, while the family dog barked and whined in the barn.
