Birdlike calls heard throughout the night

The witnesses reported hearing birdlike signaling noises from three directions from about midnight until shortly before dawn, with the noises reacting when a flashlight was shone toward the house. In the morning they found two different-sized possible tracks and a trail of spaced pushed-down vegetation that they could not explain. They also noted local predators such as coyotes had been absent for about a week.
