The witness was camping with family at Timothy Lake when nearby campers began yelling late at night about a bear or something outside. The witness then heard something running fast near the tent and felt the ground shake from its footfalls as it headed into the woods. A loud bang followed with the sound of a tree cracking and falling, which the witness thought might have been an impact. The witness states they remain unsure what it was.
