Sasquatch sighting in California
Account
The witness was hiking alone with a dog toward a shelter built in a closed mine. On a ridge about sixty to seventy yards away the witness saw a large hairy human-like figure watching, which then paced along while maintaining eye contact. The figure struck its head on a high tree branch, cried out, snapped the branch off, and then left the area.
