The guest and his father were preparing for a morning hunt at their lower lakeside camp when the guest scanned the hillside above the upper camp with naked eye and binoculars. He watched a very tall, jet-black, upright figure walk efficiently downhill toward the lakes for one to three minutes, stepping over deadfall and through tall brush. As the sun rose higher the figure should have become more visible but had completely vanished when he looked back.
