Account
The witness and a different friend were walking on a cut road toward the larger meadow when a firewood-sized log fell onto the bank ahead of them. Moments later they heard crashing through branches and a football-sized stone struck the same bank and rolled into the road. They saw a fresh arc of disturbed branches leading toward distant trees and turned back home.
