The witness took his girlfriend to fish and explore by small boat on a lake near Cadillac. After rocks were thrown from the shoreline, a tall hair-covered figure appeared in a clearing and vocalized loudly, knocking the girlfriend into the water and leaving the witness temporarily paralyzed and disoriented. He recovered, retrieved her, and fled by boat to shore and then to a nearby bar. The trip was cut short and the pair researched the experience afterward.
