The witness was camping with family and woke in the early morning to the sound of footsteps clinking on large river rocks. She watched a very large dark figure kneel at the water's edge and drink from its hand for several minutes. When she moved in her sleeping bag the figure turned to look at her, then stood and walked downriver out of sight as the rock sounds continued. She remained silent and did not tell her family at the time.
